The WHY…

The “All for Him” collection comes from a place of worship and devotion … As a Christian artist, my work seeks to find the balance between the heaviness and lightness we experience in this world, while trying to live a life full of grace and mercy, just as it’s been given to us freely. I aim to bring to the canvas an authentic voice of love and speak to the soul of the viewer through painted expression one canvas at a time. The contrast between light and dark, along with the varied strokes in between, is meant to illustrate the struggles and joyous moments we experience and our ability to rise from the darkness we each face with the faith and love we can find in Jesus.

Being a Christian does not mean that we do not face hardship, feelings of inadequacy, loneliness and imperfection – quite the contrary. This body of work seeks to bring forth the message that with His love and His grace we are able to rise in the face of challenge, be held with tender embrace and be found in the shadows of the valleys we walk. The collection comes from a place near and dear to my heart – learning to trust in Him and to remain in Him, despite the highs and lows. The presence of light in each work is an analogy of His love for us and our willingness to see and accept it’s light – His help. The emergence of this light from the clouds or rippling across the water aims to show that the light is still there even amidst those heavy clouds or crashing waves. We are never alone in our walk. I hope that with these works you can feel and know that you are so loved. I also hope that these works serve as an offering to bring His message of love and salvation to you to meet you wherever you are in your walk with Him – because in all that I do with this work, it is All for Him, because of Him. 

John 8: 12 - Jesus spoke to the People once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
