Dear Collector,
This piece means a lot to me. It’s entitled “Returning.” It was taken from a picture I took in January while traveling back to California. I took this photo and knew it was one to paint… what I didn’t know was that it was going to remind me that in returning to places we know, love, miss or have forgotten - like Jesus, we are welcomed and without judgement. When we return to Him, he takes Broken Things and uses them (us) to make things new.
I hope you know that even though sometimes life may try to break you - He will use those broken parts to make you new…. and moreover - remind you that in returning to Him, you are ALWAYS His… and anything that is His is made stronger than any wave crashing around you. Returning to Him … is like returning Home. Welcome Home, friend. 🤍
